Scrip gift cards
Buy gift cards for the places you already shop. You pay face value, the retailer donates a percentage to PTAN, and it costs you nothing extra.
PTAN buys gift cards at a discount from hundreds of local, regional and national retailers and sells them at full face value. For example: PTAN buys a $10 Dutch Bros gift card for $8 and sells it to you for $10. You paid $10, you get $10 — and Melrose earned $2.
These are the exact same cards you would buy in stores — easy to use, no extra cost, no catch. Use them in place of cash, debit or credit for groceries, fuel, dining, clothing, entertainment and home improvement. The more we use it, the more we make.
How to buy
- Online at melrosegiftcards.square.site. Browse by category – local and independent businesses, Roseburg dining, and cards that donate 20% or more.
- In the Melrose office during regular business hours.
- From a PTAN representative at school events.

Fred Meyer Community Rewards
Link your Rewards Card to Melrose PTAN once, and Fred Meyer donates every time you shop.
- Go to fredmeyer.com/i/community/community-rewards and sign in to (or create) your digital account.
- Search for Melrose Parent Teacher Action Network (non-profit #85356) and link your card.
- Shop as usual. You still earn all your Rewards Points, Fuel Points and rebates.
No Rewards Card? They're free at the Customer Service desk of any Fred Meyer store. And remember to use a Scrip gift card for your Fred Meyer purchases for an added donation.
The Melrose Auction

The Melrose Auction is our main fundraiser for the year, and it supports most of what PTAN does for our students, staff and community. Venue, tickets and sponsor information are posted on our Facebook page as they are set.

Volunteer
The "A" in PTAN stands for Action. Let's turn a noun into a verb.
There are many volunteer opportunities at Melrose Elementary, and parent involvement is one of the most important aspects of our school's success. Volunteers help with school events, the auction, Scrip sales, classroom support and more. Whether you have 30 minutes or a couple of hours, on campus or from home, we can match your time and interests to what's needed.

Spirit Fridays — wear your Bulldog gear every Friday!
T-shirts, beanies, sweatshirts and stainless steel paw print water bottles are available at the school. Visit the Melrose office to see what's in stock. Gear sales aren't a fundraiser; we keep prices as low as possible. Show your Bulldog pride! Woof!
